Privacy Policy

How Sprout collects, uses, and protects your personal information for the early-access program.
Sprout is operated by Bambury Bouvet Geyer Falsetta Inc. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). This policy explains what we collect during the Sprout early-access program and why.
1. What we collect
When you sign up for early access, we collect:
- Information you give us: your name and email address (required), and, if you choose to provide them, your store or dispensary, role, and city/province.
- Consent record: whether you agreed to receive email, and the date, time, and IP address of that consent (required to prove consent under CASL).
- Technical details: the page or campaign you came from (referrer / UTM tags) and the time you signed up.
2. Why we collect it
We use your information only to:
- add you to the early-access list and send you launch and product updates you asked for;
- administer the CAD $300 launch draw and contact a winner; and
- understand who is interested so we can build the platform well.
We do not use your information for any other purpose without your consent.
3. Consent and unsubscribing
We email you only if you gave express consent by checking the consent box. Every email will include an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time by using it or by emailing sproutcannabis@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent does not remove you from an entry you already made in the draw.
4. How we store and share it
Your information is stored in a database hosted on Cloudflare’s infrastructure. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site and email program, and only as needed for those purposes. We may disclose information if required by law.
5. How long we keep it
We keep early-access information until the platform launches or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
6. Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Email sproutcannabis@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including rate limiting and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Cookies and analytics
This early-access Site does not use advertising cookies. We may collect basic, aggregated usage information to keep the Site running and understand interest.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted here.
